Already!
Man oh man are we ever in big trouble! Micah climbed out of his crib on Saturday night! Now, some people feel this is ok, he will climb in, climb out and be just fine. Others feel if we know that he can, we should prevent it. Grandpas suggestion.....put plywood on top, that way he can't get out! :-) So far we haven't done anything. We might put him in a pack and play for a bit....I dont know....it just seems too early for him to be in a big boy bed.

put the side down. he will get out at will. with the side down there is less chance of a fall and he will get out no matter what. pack and play-he will get out. his world is growing. yours is getting smaller. welcome to being a parent.
ReplyDeletei had miss molly at the church picnic on sunday. it was wonderful. she played with the kids and i could talk with the adults. she knew where i was and i could check on her every so often and not worry to much about her. she came running to me once and had to go potty fast. we ran fast to the port-a-pottys. new experaiance. she wanted to fluch it and where to wash her hands. yuk on what was that in the potty. i told her not to look. back to the bed. you can use the crab for another year as a bed. just keep the side down. forget getting one of those jr. beds. welcome to a smaller world.
ummmmm. . . . six kids and it n.e.v.e.r. crossed my mind to put the side down so they can freely escape! novel idea! maybe mr. amazing's toddler bed will wait and he'll live the "open crib" life for awhile! we just got a cheap "toddler" bed that uses the same crib mattress - $40 anywhere.
ReplyDeleteWell, he hasn't gotten out again....i just dont rnt to do the transition of him to a non crib (no matter what kind) right now...we are in the middle of school pics, so I am getting up at 5 every day and I dont want to fight with him to go to bed! So we are just gonna bide our time for now.
ReplyDeletelets hope he will not want to get out of the crib again - soon. i know you can get a jr bed at not to much. all in what you want to do. listen to sis. i am an old old lady. miss molly is in a growing spurt. not eating very good but sleeping a lot and cranky because she is tired at night. she is so sweet when she isn't tired. her pictures should be able to be seen next week. i am so looking forward to see how they look. all were taken outside and should be good. she was a little shy at first so they might not be real smilly-oh well.
