my baby loves me!!

miguel and i both had to get to work super early today, so, mom came to the house so micah could sleep as long as he wanted :-) when he got up, mom said he looked for us....(lets just say, he looked for me) and when he couldn't find me he cried! my baby loves me!! He really loves me!!
I must say, every day when I drop him off at mom and dad's he is just so excited to wave bye bye, he is such an easy going, laid back guy.....
but today, today he cried for me!!
my sweet, sweet baby boy loves me!!
(I just needed to shout it to the world. ok, I am better now :-)

give thanks with a greatful heart

I am thankful for a roof over my head, a job, and food on our table every night.

I am thankful for health insurance, even though it stresses me out.

I am thankful for bright sunny days.

I am thankful for a car that works (today at least…we’ll have to see about tomorrow…)

I am thankful for being able to see my Grandparents often.

I am thankful for true, real, lasting friendships that keeps me grounded and brings out the best in me.

I am thankful for my friends who love me even thought I am not a very good friend :-)

I am thankful for our church family who love us like they are realted by blood... (because we are)

I am thankful for my family – for their help, their patience, their steadfast loyalty, and their unconditional love.

I am thankful for my parents, who go above and beyond their call of duty for us. (I would be lost without you, and the Lord knows it)

I am thankful for my husband, who, for some reason is crazy about me.

I am thankful for my son who gives me fresh eyes and a new start every single day.




But today I am the most thankful that I serve a loving, gracious, unconditional Lord who has blessed me with trials and triumphs, with good, strong people in my life, and with my own little family who brings me so much joy and peace.

we are going through a time in our life and marriage
where things are really sad and stressful
things are really stressful for both of us right now....
and it seems there is no end in sight....

there is also a lot of death near us too
and it reminds us of other things from the
past and it just makes life really hard right
now....

for me, all of these sad things help to put
everything else into perspective...

it makes you look at life through God's eyes
and you see, work,bills,health ins.
all of those things become very minimal....

life is too short to stress about
every little thing....

Just take each day, each moment and enjoy it!!

Life is a gift from God, and it will
be gone before you know it!

oh, man

we are in big, big trouble!
or should i say grandma and grandpa are in big trouble :-)
but i still can't figure it out....dad says that this is my fault....yes, i did help mom hang some curtains this morning....but as you can clearly see, Micah is on a chair at grandma and grandpa's house...in the middle of the day (note the sunshine in the window and the clock on the tv)
Momma was at work when this 'incident' took place
but to me the best part is that grandpa didn't get him OFF the chair...he got the camera :-)

so, again, i beg the question...my fault?

The Big B-Day Celebration.......

SO, the day started a little rocky....we got 2 shots in each leg and then blood drawn from the arm ( after digging around to find a vein ) but micah was a champ through all of it....

then home for a nap and a little cuddle time

then off we went to have lunch with grandpa and grandma
mmmmm butterburgers mmmmmmmmm

then home for cake and ice cream!!!
the minute he saw the cake he started
screaming and wouldn't stop till he put
CAKE into his mouth!! we we're all laughing
our heads off!!

now it's time to play with my puppy!
