Tic Tic

"Tic Tic, Nose, Grama" Micah knew he needed to tell grama right away that he had put the Tic Tac up his nose!! Ha Ha Ha you see grandpa eats Tic Tacs all the time, and we also have a box of them in our medicine cabinet....so, micah thinks that he always needs to have one.... well, he's not getting them any longer.... granpa was out cutting the grass, and had to be called in to help extract the Tic Tic ;-)

gel, danna & wanee

so yesterday dad sent me this email

"Some body is calling me Wanee !!!!!!!
What are you teaching this child??????????"

it took me a couple of times to figure out
what it meant.....
he was calling dad ronnie!

he has been calling miguel 'gel'
for a while now, and i have always
though it to be funny!
because we don't call each other
mama, and daddy
we call each other by our given name...
well, it's not so funny when he called
me 'danna' the other day!

and 'wanee' needs to take his complaint to
lucy, the one that calls him ronnie :-)

pillows

about three weeks ago micah had a double ear infection.
he was really congested so we put two pillows under his
mattress to prop him up at night, so he would be able to
breath, and hopefully sleep :-)
once he was feeling better I took to pillow out and put
it into bed with him......
now, every night i put him in bed he says
'mama, i like pillow'
it just kills me! every night!!
'i like pillow'

before the pillow, i would lay him
down, and he would stand right back up,
hug me and try to get me to take him out
of his bed.....but now, he just lays there
thrilled with the fact that he has his
very own pillow!

thump

let me tell you a little story....
so, micah and nello were playing
in the hallway at julie's new house
and julie, joel and I were out in the
kitchen. all of a sudden we heard a thump
.... I look down the hall to see nello sitting
on the floor near the wall holding his head....
so, I went over to him, asked him if he was ok...
he just kind of looked at me...all the while micah
was just standing there watching nello and I.
So, I bent over and picked Nello up, gave him a little
hug and a kiss on the head and told him he was ok.
the minute I picked him up, micah started tapping me
saying "carry, carry' ...meaning pick ME up!
I told micah that nello bumped his head and has
an owie.....
so, i put nello down...he wasn't really bothered
by the bump....
I turn around to micah spin in a circle, sit on the
floor, and tap his head on the wall.....then jump
up holding his head and start fake crying....tapping
me saying carry, carry!
how could i resist my baby! I picked him up, loved him
up and put him back down chuckling all the while :-)
joel said he should be nominated for an Emmy, or Oscar '-)

This Is A Day I Will Remember For The Rest Of My Life!
The day Julie, Joel and the kids moved to Dbq.
I am so glad they are here safe and sound.
