Truth Serum

Sometimes I want to lay down on the floor, kick, scream and cry that I want my sisters.
Its the truth, I can't help it, its how I feel.
Well, today I got a little taste to help me get through another couple of days til they come back. But I must also tell you, I didn't get my jacob fix....he was too busy sleeping! The nerve!
I got to see Nello Amazing, My sweet, sweet Chuckwagon, Eddie D as he entertained the babies, Stud Seve in his sunglasses, Beautiful Sousi in her butterfly glasses.
I got to hug my sister, and see joel (I know why nello is soooo amazing)

Speaking of Nello, Micah.....well lets just say the only child didn't fair so well with the baby of 6....he thought he was bigger and rougher, but his skin isn't as thick......(well that could also be because I am his mother) but they still had fun from what I could tell!

Screaming past

It feels like Christmas was just a couple off weeks ago. I was holding my still bald 10 month old that was still crawling. Where has the time gone? They say it flies when you are having fun....they lie! It screams past! I don't know where the time had gone......my baby is now 1 1/2 years old people! What is going on! He walks, he talks, he, he, he, he climbs!
But he is still mamma's baby, that will never change. The sweetest thing to me is when he is sleepy he starts sucking on his bottom lip and playing with the hem on my shirt (or whoever is within reach). He has 3 blankets that are silk on one side and the other side has the silk trim on the outside. Now, one is at grandma and grandpa's for nap time and two here......well for the last week or so he has been wetting the bed (and his blanket) and I am not getting them washed fast enough. When I try to put him in bed without his 'silky' Look Out! He has got a scream that can shatter glass and he uses it! And when he goes to bed with a 'silky'.....no cries, no peeps, nothing! It's so crazy the difference in him!

What day it will be when Micah understands what a beautiful sacrifice his Heavenly Father has made for him. I can't wait for Micah to grow up and accept Jesus as his personal Savior! What an amazing day that will be. Please pray for Miguel and I as we strive to show Micah God's love for him. (and for grandma and grandpa too, as we all know it takes a village to raise a child)

'T'rouble with a capital T

Well, micah is starting to get taller, which means his reach is further! Ugh!
And to top it off he has started climbing! Mom and Dad told me it was coming but I just wouldn't listen (as usual). I couldn't believe my eyes when I was brushing my teeth this morning and he pulled out the bottom drawer and stepped right into it....now he can reach Everything on the counter top! Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh No place is safe from his reach, where am I gonna hide the brown sugar so I don't have to share?!
