Feeling a little green
The last few weeks have been a little rough around here. First Micah was sick, then I ended up with pneumonia and off work for several days and then Micah ended up sick again! So, I don't think I have really slept for the last month! But things are on the up and up now!
Funny story though....Micah had never puked, lets start with that....and the doctor said he does not need to eat with his meds (its only his second time on meds too).
So, last saturday I gave him his meds, we headed out the door to the farmers market, spent some time there, got in the car and headed to IHOP. We went in and when we were walking to our table I heard miguel, who was carrying Micah say...Janna Janna...i turned around to see green liquid spewing from my baby's mouth! Miguel said what do I do?!, what do I do?! I said GO, GO, GO BACK OUT SIDE! We were both in shock, we didn't know what to do with a puking baby, let alone a puking baby in public! I grabbed a bus boy, told him, said we were sooooo sorry and out the door we went. We stripped his wet clothes off him and laughed all the way home! Poor little guy! But he was back to himself before we ever made it to Harlan St.
So he gets fed with his meds!
Also, heh heh heh...a couple of days later I gave him his meds, through him in the car and off we went to mom and dads.....yeah, Harlan too the highchair on Clifford St. is too long with out food....mom said it looked like the puke came from his toes!....so, no meds til there is food in the belly! We'll get the hang of this parenting thing pretty soon! Its a good thing we have mom and dad to help us along the way!
